Knutsson is tied for the team lead in points with nine.

Toti Knutsson has emerged as a key player in BU men’s soccer coach Neil Roberts’ rotation in recent months, and one year ago, the midfielder wasn’t even living in the United States. Knutsson, an Icelandic native, has spent the fall semester adjusting to college life and the American soccer game while being a 22-year-old freshman.

He’s quiet, but very thoughtful. He’s deeply appreciative of the opportunity to get an education at a prestigious university like BU, and also the opportunity to play soccer in the US. In this exclusive sit-down with Knutsson, he explains cultural differences between the US and his home country, and addresses his future with the Terriers and in the game of soccer.
